OUR STORY

Established in the Summer of 2023, Best Family Farms sits on 38 acres just South of Maplesville, AL. What was once a hobby of growing a small family garden quickly turned into a full time undertaking. Started by Brandon and Dr. Robyn Best as a step towards self-sufficiency, the farm has since incorporated child labor with the help of our two boys, Jack and Ben. Before her passing in childbirth in the Fall of 2024, Robyn was a passionate beekeeper. As a way to honor her memory, the boys and I have expanded our apiary from two hives to twelve. In addition to honey and bee products, we also grow some of the largest and sweetest blackberries I've ever tasted; perfect for making the boys pick.
